Omnibus & Rhetoric

For both middle and high school, divided in grade appropriate classes.  We have developed a three year history cycle that all of our students follow together.  In 2026-27 we will be studying Ancient History in all grades (6th - 11th).
The Omnibus class is inclusive of:
  • History
  • Humanities
  • Philosophy
  • Theology
  • Literature.
These topics are studied through reading original source documents, literature written in and about the time, as well as Socratic discussion.  In Rhetoric the students will learn to share, tell and write about what they've learned.  We use the classical Progymnasta as the foundation for our rhetoric classes.

SENIOR SEMINAR

This class is specially designed with the Senior in mind, covering Modern History/Literature with a strong emphasis on senior readiness.

Languages

At this time we are not offering high school level languages. However, we do offer Middle School Latin class with a 2 year cycle rotating each year.  The study of Latin at the foundational level equips our students by strengthening their understanding of  English grammar, significantly improves vocabulary, enhances critical thinking skills, and so much more.
